oh ok, that was definitely not the link I found on xda, thanks, so I change that identifier and the rom has the language built in? it just activates it?

you should be able to follow the guide at XDA to turn it to arabic with this kitchen and the link.

try sunnysoft's arabic keyboard program. It's exactly what I want but if i install it on my samsung intrepid ppc, I can't boot anymore

All of the arabic software I've installed does that.
