Phone screen alignment is messed up?

So I have recently dropped my phone about 2 weeks ago pretty badly. There was a big scratch and pretty deep on the top right corner of the phone and bottom right corner (when facing the phone, so on the camera button side).

Phone was fine after that.

Last night I managed to drop the phone again. It seemed fine in the mornign and I was able to do some extensive texting. I always keep my phone in my pocket.

At the end of the work day, my phone I noticed to be very sluggish, not responsive, but worst of all, the calbiration of the screen was TOTALLY off. Sometimes even touchign the screen so hard it didn't do anything. Or even on the keyboard typing a B would tiype an L etc.
Soft resets do nothing for it.
Tried eventually re-alignign the screen that does nothing for it.

It seems to cut off and come back eventually (the alignment).

I don't know what to do and am pretty frustrated. I've only used this phone for several months and really like it!

So I'm using my old busted up e815 for now, but would like to get back to using my touch.

Did the drops permanently damage the screen?? Any sugestions?

I doubt a hard reset or even a firmware flash would change this. Anyone else run into similar problem?

Thanks in Advance.

Re: Phone screen alignment is messed up?

update. still sporadically (read: often) has this problem.

I thought perhaps a flash would help it and why not try it out..
I can ONLY reflash using the current rom that is on that phone (NFSFAN 1.0 RUU doesn't detect any other of the NFSfan rom's that I have succesfully used in the past.

I could either hard reset and try another ROM but that is extremely risky if it doesn't allow me to re-flash any other rom since my device wasn't detected by RUU even though it is detected by activesync/windows explorer etc.

Another option is to try reflashing 1.08, but if it doesn't allow me or crashes half way through, I am without a phone. Any suggestions?
