I'll buy the digitizer and then go looking for a dis-assembly manual for the Vogue and then I will dive into it. I have total equipment protection so I really have nothing to lose.
This is what I looked at when I replaced my screen , Hope it Helps.

Thanks T M Z

Re: LCD/Digitizer - Anyone know if this will work on a Sprint Touch?

My guess is that it would be compatible, however, notice that the listing says this digitizer is for the 3450, which is the Elf, not the Vogue. I've never taken my Vogue apart, so I can't verify that it is compatible though, it's just a guess.

Re: LCD/Digitizer - Anyone know if this will work on a Sprint Touch?

Most likely not, but I have been recently successfull with this one:
HTC TOUCH DOPOD S1 XV6900 XDA Nova OEM Screen Digitizer

Full Link to my recently completed Ebay auction:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=350113089072

It came with tools.Although I had to use my own T5-Torx screwdriver instead of the supplied T6, the plastic pray bar was that also came with the kit was extremely useful.
The instructions were a little bit unclear to me, but after applying some common sense thinking I was able to remove old digitizer screen and replace it with the new one. The digitizer screen had to come off from the front side of the device as it is glued to the frame with some kind of silicone compound. After initial disasembly I used the supplied plastic pray bar to "unglue" the digitizer screen comming from the front. That compound was sticky enough for the new digitizer screen to hold it into place.

The only difference after replacement is that instead of a "Sprint" logo on the front of my 6900 HTC Touch I have a real "HTC" logo now.

TEP may not cover you if you break the paper over onna the screws... you might have to "lose" your phone in that case...

dont do it. sprint has their devices made differently then the oem and you need a sprint part to replace, I have a sprint touch pro2 and i tried to use an oem part and Now I have to buy more replacement parts because the dissassbly video doesnt cover the hardware i.e. a screw or a wire. its different when you get into the guts.

Dude...look when this thread started or look at when the post before yours was posted!

Get in the habit of looking at dates before you reply to a two year old thread.
