Question Opera Mobile 9.5 Beta

I was wondering if anyone could tell me if there are any differences between the Opera Mobile 9.5 that was just released to beta and the one ripped from the HTC Diamond?

Re: Opera Mobile 9.5 Beta

One of the annoyances in the 9.5 versions I've used is that the Bookmarked Favorites produces HUGE icons and lots of wasted screen space in listing the bookmarked favorites. Is this fixed in any more recent version of 9.5 ?

Re: Opera Mobile 9.5 Beta

the problem was fixed in the new beta 9.5 release. As far as favorites, it also exports the IE favorites for use in opera.

I agree they are large, but they are also more finger friendly. I hated accidentally hitting the wrong one in IE.

I haven't played with the settings, but since it imports IE bookmarks into a separate folder, it would be nice if you can categorize all your bookmarks.

i been plaing with it alot lately. it does let you create different favorites folders so you can better manage your favorites.

That has been a huge huge problem for me in regards to Opera Mobile not being optimal in memory usage. I had to switch to OperaMini, which is THE ONLY (I TESTED SEVERAL) one that will work consistently with all webpages I frequent. Other browsers creep to zero memory or until they freeze the phone on most of those pages.

OperaMini is great, but has limited functionality. Still better than anything else for my usage though.
