Visual Voicemail

Does anyone know of a cab or file that will allow for visual voicemail for the vogue? I think the instinct has it so I didnt know if there was a way to make it work. Sorry still a noob.

Visual voicemail is a service exclusive to the instinct. Dashwire has a visual voicemail system you can set up off the site though.

Does dash wire connect to the web so frequently as to kill battery life?

We recommend users have an unlimited data plan which allows them to fully optimize the dashwire experience through auto-sync. Battery drain is minimal. But users can also choose to manually sync whenever they want which would minimize the battery drainage even further.

Are you using the latest Dashwire Mobile client (http://m.dashwire.com)? Are you running WinMo 6.1 and want to try our latest release (http://m.dashwire.com/beta)?

I am running the first 'official' 6.1 rom w/gps and rev a. i have dashwire 2.0 at first i had it set on manual for fear of battery drain. until one day i decided just to see how long my phone would last. so i set dashwire to auto and set out on my day. I got back home about 13 hours later and even with dashwire up running and connected the whole time, plus i used my phone as normal. i would say maybe 300txts, casual web browsing, and a quick tether i still had 20% battery life left. imo, that's incredible. i now let dashwire run all the time.

It did for me. Drove me nuts, so I removed it.

Re: Visual Voicemail

Interesting thread.

I have noticed something new in the last month or so that i never had before. Ususally, if i had an un-listened to voice mail, someone calls and leaves another (raising my count above 1 unread message), i would not get an indication of another one. Basically, everything would just say "1 new voice message". Since i have been flashing a few roms, i've noticed that my indicator for S2U2 shows me how many voicemails i have.

Any sprint phone i have ever owned only said "you have 1 or more messages" you have not listened to. Never a count like this. Anyone else get this?

There was another thread about that already. Some people do and some people dont. I believe it was by area.
