Wakeup cab?

Is there a cab that will stop the phone from randomly waking up and lighting up?

i don't believe the phone is suppose to do that... what rom are you using? stock? or custom?

My phone does this too, just like my Motorola Q as well. Both on the sprint network and both do the random wake-up where they light up. I'm using one of the custom roms on the Vogue. I don't think it's a rom issue though because my Q does the exact same thing. It's annoying and wastes battery power.

Are you using push email or something else that would make it data connect? Maybe IMAP would do this if you have it set to poll the server at an interval???

nope, the newest official rom is what im running
i have a email setup but its setup as manual so it doesnt check to see for new emails.

no data connects, and i live in metro detroit which is EVDO everywhere

i think it has something to do with activesync, but even after doing the "work around" it still doesnt work

The only time I've ever noticed mine wake up like that it was switching on and off of roaming. Change your roaming settings to Sprint Only and see if that stops it.

your phone should switch from evdo to 1x when you send a text or make a phone call but that wouldnt cause the screen to light up cuz it would already be on. i think you have something wrong with your phone and you should have it checked

There's nothing wrong with the phone. It's happened with all my Sprint phones. It's probably something to do with roaming and/or EVDO switching on and off.
