Re: Why does my WM wallpaper end up so light on my Touch?
How are you enabling the picture? You should load it onto your ppc, then open pictures and videos program. Highlight the pic you want and tap, hold on the pic. It will bring a menu up and select set as today background. It will bring up a transparancy control. Take it to 0 % and it will look like it does on your computer. Hope that helps.

Re: Why does my WM wallpaper end up so light on my Touch?
It's the transparency setting on the Today screen. Navigate to the wallpaper using file explorer and then click on it to open it with Pictures & Videos. Once you do, go to the menu and select Set as Today Background. From there, it will ask you to choose the Transparency level and if you want it as it should appear, select 0%. Have fun!

Re: Why does my WM wallpaper end up so light on my Touch?
Oh wow, you guys are great. Thank you very much for your help.
Maybe one more question. The image I want to use doesn't make for a very good drop down programs (start) menu with any color font selected. Is it possible to make this start menu a solid color? BTW, I'm doing this all manually, not via theme selection. Thanks again. |

Re: Why does my WM wallpaper end up so light on my Touch?
I've had no trouble setting custom pics as wallpapers, but now after I've flashed with the latest kitchen, when I "set as today background" it doesn't bring up the transparency screen at all, it just sets it to the wallpaper by itself. I can't find anywhere else to adjust the transparency, ideas?
