Alltel Vouge GPS shows up in India???

When i use google maps or Live search my gps locks me into India. im in florida, not even close at all. any explanation for this?

maybe move to India, then it will show you in Florda?

I dont know what to tell you. is it showing as locked onto a number of satalites?

Sounds like you're not really locked, how many sats does it show you are connected to? You need atleast 4 for an accurate lock, so at the top of the screen it should say GPS Active (4) or more. Sometimes mine will take a long time to lock on and show me out in the middle of the ocean until it does finally lock.

Or the N/S E/W could be reversed, like the g and the u in your Vouge.

But, seriously, it sounds like you're directions are screwed up. But, depending on the amount of satellites (as previously stated by that other dude), it may be affecting your reported location oddly. Strange that it would even render a signal, and that signal would be so wrong. Check out this.
