Windows Live Sign-In Failure.......repeatedly

I have an HTC touch with Telus.....and am having an issue with Windows Live sign-in. It will not allow me to do anything with the phone....it insists I sign in and isn't accepting my information...(it is correct)....and won't allow me to cancel sign-in. This happened once before.. at that time I called Telus, I had to do a hard reset....I would like to avoid that if possible. I am not able to access anything else on the phone as it won't leave the windows sign in page long enough...even if I try to access programs from the start at the top left. Any info appreciated.

I managed to fix this problem on my own, I signed into windows live on my computer and there's an option for adding a mobile phone....I filled out the info and my phone is doing perfectly now....Phew...
