How to Downgrade from the "official" WM6.1 to the official WM6.0 Sprint ROM

I'm getting really confused with all the threads about downgrading a rom. I can't find anything about downgrading from the "official" leaked sprint rom with radio 3.42 to the official rom which is the one with WM6.0 and NO GPS.

I know I didn't have to use the unlocker to install the rom b/c is "official" so I'm wondering if I can run this rom below as it is? without any other software?

The reason there are no writeups on this is because it is not recomended because apparently it is likely you will brick your phone when you downgrade the radio. It is possible just not recommended, If I were you I would just use one of the custom roms if you are not satisfied with the OEM one or make your own with the PPCKitchen.

Thanks a lot, I was going to downgrade for warranty. I'm just going to wait for the new rom to be officially released by sprint and then take the phone in for warranty. My phone randomly soft resets by itself even while talking and i won't vibrate. It was doing the same thing with the old rom so I guess its hardware failure.

I'm in a similar boat. My phone's speaker is blown and I want to bring it in toTelus for warranty. I've unlocked, upgraded the radio and put on a custom ROM. My question is - when the official update is released can I downgrade to stock and then immediately update and bring it in for warranty, having no evidence of hacking?

Just call sprint and have them send you a replacement and then you can just send your phone into them. They won't say anything about the new rom because they will refurbish the phone anyways.

alright, well I'm just saying what I did to get it back to the stock rom, and then back again. These are coming from GPS/6.1 custom rom.

First I installed the .41 unlocker, then I ran the update for the stock Sprint rom and everything worked out just fine. Then took it into Sprint because my camera was broken and now they're getting me a new one shipped in.
So then to reinstall the newer custom rom I had to install the 2.31 unlocker, then the leaked "official" rom (to upgrade the radio), and now everything is back to the way it was. I'm not sure why I had to install the 2.31 unlocker to install the leaked rom but it would get stuck at like 29% and the say I needed to recover so I then installed the unlocker and everything worked fine.
