Jawbone 2.0 + HTC Touch

Just picked up a Jawbone 2.0 to go with my Sprint Touch....

.... When I press the "voice dial" button on the Jawbone, there is no response from the phone to give it a command.... if I press the voice dial button on the phone it responds as expected with "Voice Command"

Is there some setting I'm missing???

Just re-paired them again.... same problem

Answering and hanging up on calls works fine, however when I press the "voice Dial" button for the jawbone, I hear the tone in the headset, but when i give it a command - it doesn't respond.

Re: Jawbone 2.0 + HTC Touch

do you have your voice tags set up on the touch itself?

Re: Jawbone 2.0 + HTC Touch

I use Voice Command on the touch... my last headset (plantronics) would use my voice command since the other "voice" program sucks.

Re: Jawbone 2.0 + HTC Touch

I am using the new Jawbone with the Sprint Touch and MS Voice Command, and it works great. Are you pressing and holding the NoiseAssassin button? It was the multifunction button on the original Jawbone, so I thought it wasn't working on the new Jawbone until I read the instructions and saw they switched it to the NoiseAssassin button.

Re: Jawbone 2.0 + HTC Touch

I hold the "noise assasian" button for a few seconds and hear a chime through the headset.... however the phone isn't listening at that point, it's ignoring me.

If i press the same button 3 times quickly, it redials the last #... which appears to be right.
