Well the answer is quite simple: You live in Canada. There aren't any Satellites or technology in Canada. Too many mountains.

Humm, I wonder if I should get a [B]LG vx8500, just joking of course.
As far as I know GPS sats are geo synchronous, this should mean stationary to earth, you have a good question, why do the sat numbers not stay static if you are static. There must be a way to tell the software to look here first, I guess that is called a hot start but it doesn't seem to be working right. |

I tried to get rid of them (without rebooting) using "clear memory" function of HTC GPS Tool, but this does not seem to work..
