Anyway to install threaded texts without ROM?
I have a Verizon branded HTC Vogue.

I already bricked one of my phones, and really don't want to risk it again for GPS, as I won't be using it.

However, I am a heavy texter, and want WM6.1 threaded texts.... is there anyway to install just that part of the WM6.1 ? Onto my WM6 ? I would assume it would only be a few regedits and copying a few files.

Anyone have some info?

Short answer is no.

There are programs that do threading for you though. The best of the bunch in my opinion is XtremeText by Birdsoft.

There are threaded sms programs and ways to install threaded messaging with .cab files on the board without updating your rom.

i really suggest trying a rom again its really simplee...no reason to not try again..but u can look for palm threaded sms but u didnt hear it from me =)

You could try DCD's arcsoft which you can find here: http://67.228.199.237/forum.ppcgeeks...25065&page=240

Make sure you remove all your existing arcsoft and soft reset first.

Thanks for the replies, do you guys know that these all work with the touch keyboard?

(As in they will move the screen up to allow you to see what you are typing)
