Re: cant seem to get GPS to work no matter what

mine's no where near 7-8 minutes but it does take a minute or two. unfortunately that is the best alltel phones have available right now. You can run the new RC2 sprint rom for a lock in about a minute but it's full of sprint stuff and will require major tweaking. No custom rom I've tested right now works for alltel with RC2.

just checking, you wound up with 3.37.15 radio right?

upgrade to the newest sprint rom, soft reboot before customizations run, flash any rom you want.

this will upgrade the radio and you should get locks within 2 minutes.

Re: cant seem to get GPS to work no matter what

This works!!! THANKS!!!!!

You can also get your SID/NID from the phone you upgraded from. On my Razr I went to Settings then Network and finally Current Network. Hope this helps too.

Re: cant seem to get GPS to work no matter what

The OOS message comes back when you are roaming. Something else needs changing somewhwere. The phone works great but when you use a bluetooth earbug, you get a constant beeping in ypur era making the earbud useless until you get back in your home area.

Firsttimer.
