TCPMP Problems w/ 3.03 ROMS

I still haven't found a working build of TCPMP for the 3.03 ROMS. The latest build for the 3.02 ROMS doesn't work. Is anyone else having this problem or does anyone have a solution for us? Thanks!

Re: TCPMP Problems w/ 3.03 ROMS

Ask oldmanjenkins which he used or what he did to get it to work on his latest 3.03 rom. I am having no problems whatsoever with it.

I am having the same issue. Ecker2008, if you get an answer form OMJ, please let me know. I know he is very busy creating and giving to the community so I don't want to bug him if you already have gotten a response.

This will do the trick. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=380387

Thanks to christak from PPCGEEKS for bringing this over from XDA and thanks to milesmowbray from XDA for the original post.

Still not sure if I'm going to be able to play .avi files though. Guess I'll find out shortly.

I think this is the same one, but I had this issue as well. The version in the linked thread works for me

Re: TCPMP Problems w/ 3.03 ROMS

yeah...it's the same one cuz I tried downloading and it told me that I had to replace the original file. I have a bunch of torrent files that I downloaded but they are .avi files. When I open one with this new build, the video is real slow and way behind the sound. A fix for this would be great. I am using PocketDivxEncoder to convert my movies.

Yamus

Was having the same choppy video issues, but I went under Options -> Video and checked Raw FrameBuffer instead of Direct Draw and now it plays like before.

I use "MediaCoder MPx Player Edition" which is really good and supports dual cpu machines for faster encoding too - but I'll give pocketdivxencoder ago to see if better
