change softkey to SMS, what is the exe?

Ok so fairly new to these ppc's but Im def liking it. I have updated to 6.1 gps, etc, doing some registry hacks.

My questions is, I understand in theory how to change the softkeys, but I dont seem to understand how to 'point' the registry key to the 'text.exe' or watever it is.

Also, do i just type in the file that it needs to run, or is there a way to actually link the file by browsing thru some files. Any help would be appreciated.

I think its tmail.exe in the Windows directory. I could be wrong on this, but I think thats it.

Re: change softkey to SMS, what is the exe?

Well I have seen post that says make a shortcut (lnk) file and set that to something that has a switch "-services". Well I tried that and it worked, but here is where it didn't: if you open your outlook email, it will open in the text messages instead or email.
