Certified Sprint Repair Centers doing Upgrades Now
I called my local Sprint Certified Repair Center here in Stuart, FL and they said if I bring my phone in they will do the update for me. They said that it would take about an hour.
So, I'm guessing this one is Really Official. Oh well, I like it the way it is. So if you're having trouble updating call your local Sprint Repair Center.

can you list a phone number or the ROM version number or both?
whenever i go into the only sprint repair center in tacoma, wa, i've gotten complete idiots...

yea they will upgrade the phone, probably to the latest they have. Doesnt mean they have the a v3 rom yet
