Opinions on best Radio for GPS

I have had 3.35, 3.37, and 3.42. There are a few more decimal places but I am not sure right now what they are. I was wondering what are peoples experiences with the different radios regarding GPS and which one they found works the best. So far I have noticed and I am sure others have aswell, that the GPS is blazing fast for the first day or so but then just dies out eventually. If there is a Radio that I missed that you feel worked really well feel free to let me know.

Re: Opinions on best Radio for GPS

I have the 3.42 radio and my GPS locks within 20 seconds and has not 'died' on me yet. I have not run the ppst.exe.

Re: Opinions on best Radio for GPS

GPS was best for me with the Sprint leaked ROM with no PPST.exe run.

Locked instantly and accurately the first time indoors and outdoors.

3.42

Can't speak for the GPS since I'm on Verizon and we don't have a PPST.exe (doh!), but the call quality itself is very good. I've been getting a nice and strong signal everywhere I've been lately.

Re: Opinions on best Radio for GPS

Personally I have noticed that the 3.35 radio has been the best for me. Allthough with the 3.37 and the 3.42 radios I did run the ppst.exe for Bell. I will try to re-flash without running the ppst, and post my results

Re: Opinions on best Radio for GPS

I think I will put in a vote for 37. 42 just hasn't been working as well as I hear others stating. It might be my imagination though.

It does not matter if you run it again or not, once it has run, it makes permanent changes to your phones firmware and basically can't be undone.
