I highly doubt this is the Diamond... Looks NOTHING like what we have all seen so far and tried to imitate. I honestly think that that is either the Pro. or some kind of smartphone that uses a "diamond-ish" GUI.

Not the Diamond OR the Pro. Look at the comparison:

Wrong. Re-read the technical specs. The phones are in the same "class" but they are totally different. Take the 4 gigs of internal memory on the Diamond for example. The Pro doesn't have that but instead the Pro has more RAM and MicroSDHC support whereas the Diamond does not even support MicroSD.

They're 2 totally different devices. I'm rooting for the Pro.

I'm torn on the Diamond.

I mean, it has a lot off cool little features (magnetic stylus, accelorometer), the build quality feels a lot more "solid" than the touch and the screen resolution is nice.

But I still can't get over the fact that underneath it all, it's still the same WM 6.1.

goto you-tube and watch htc vid. with both phone in it. ill wait for the pro. they said it will be out end of the year. i also just saw on msnbc that if you don't goto 2yr. plan for 3g i-phone, the phone is 400bux!!! (renew 2yr. plan)

its deff the diamond, i work for sprint and have gotten an email a few months ago stating that we would get the diamond/and or Pro in the fall of this year, so they are just now releasing pics little by little, either way im ditching my touch but ill probably go wit the pro, because i want a real keyboard, onscreen ones suck overall to me, but at least the diamond and pro are both wifi, and have a 3.2 megapixel cam! sweet upgrade

U damn skippy bout that, but its just something so special about that Diamond though... I say dump the Wi-fi and give it a microsdhc slot LOL, but seriously though, a PPC with no external storage support? Sad to say that this is where the Diamond is going to fail at. Cmon HTC yall know better now!
