Security Certificate

Does anyone know how to modify Security Certificates. My IT Dept has mine set to require a simple pin every 5 minutes which is pretty annoying and would like to modify the certificate to extend the time interval if possible.

Thanks.

Give this a try.

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Policies\Policies]
"00001023"=dword:00000001[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Policies\Policies]

I found this back when we were using crappy 1&1 exchange service. I think it disables the need for the pin altogether. I'm not 100% sure but give it a try.

Re: Security Certificate

Those policies are enforced by the Exchange server each time you sync. It will replace any policies you remove on next sync.
