I have been disapointed with my Sprint Touch's LCD panel since the day I got it. The vertical viewing angle sucks. If you look at it from the top down, it looks too dark and has a negative effect. From the bottom up, and it is way too light and washed out. This is especially annoying in landscape mode because each eye is seeing a different image. I can't stand to watch Sprint TV because of this. Anyway, I was surprised to see this comparison on Engadget today:
http://www.engadgetmobile.com/photos...nds-on/890578/ I thought that the Verizon hardware was exactly the same, but this seems to show that the LCD panel is much better.
I have a couple of questions:
1) Can you Verizon users confirm that your off axis viewing looks as good as in the pictures?
2) I need to replace my LCD screen anyway. Does anyone know if there is a way that I can ensure that I obtain the version that is in the Verizon phone?
