Which ttn7.cab file are you using? the one i'm using works for about 2 minutes and stops - would you mind uploading the .cab?

Thanks :)

Here are my two files.

The first is a rar (so open it on your computer) and copy the Navigation folder to your Vogue\Program Files\ folder (this is where the files for most installed programs go).

The next is astrolauncher. It will created the shortcut in the programs menu, and because of the way it was installed, there will only be one shortcut, instead of the regular two.

Navigator

TomTom Launcher

Thanks will try it tonight! I already have Astrolauncher and it was useless! BUt i think with your Navigator file, this setup should work. God I'm tired of using googlemaps!

Just tested Copilot 7, this app is also capable of self priming. When you run it, it will fire up the GPS all on its own. And its got some pretty cool features (traffic over the internet connection, Copilot Live where people can send you messages and see where you are and even make suggestions on what your next destination should be)

No text to speech though :-(

Tom Tom is still my number one, but some may like Copilot 7..check it out, its my new number two (replacing Inav 4)

I just installed the astrolauncher but I'm not sure how do use it. I see the icon in my programs listing but it doesn't do anything. Is that normal?

Thanks

did you install tt7? the launcher needs a program to launch.

Re: TomTom7 possible without Primer?

I use TT7 and it is probably 25-30% faster than TT6. My maps are around 900mb (all of US).

I also do prime before I use. BAZ GPS works the best for me, as I can put a link directly under my TT7 link on my desktop. 1 click on, 1 click TT7 - and on exit, its a 1 click off.

When i use tom tom 6, it runs much faster (but i am using a regional map with 6).

Has anyone else noticed a major difference in speed between version 6 and 7?

Is there a way to fix this? (i already tried turning off the POIs that didn't change anything :-()

I use the TomTom7 USA & Canada Maps. They're only about 900MB and they are quick even with POI turned on.
