Kitchen help needed

I'm trying to add ringtones my self, I select additional ringtones in one of the selections on the kitchen then build and finish then test it out on the phone and it has some other tones there (looks like the ones that come default with the kitchen) and then when you select one of those it says it can't find that file.

Is there a way to rebuilt the ringtones and themes db so it gets the new ones I have in the folder.

I put the additional ringtones and themes in the following folder

C:\Program Files\PPCkitchen.org\BuildOS\USER_OEM

Theres a folder for ringtones and one for themes.

It's weird, I've cooked roms before but never experienced this problem.

This might sound like a stupid question, but are you using the oemizer to put them in or just adding them to user_oem? Under tools is the oemizer, which you can then build the files into an oem that can then be added to your rom.

Each folder will need a setup.xml (so the kitchen will see it) and a DSM and RGU file so the rom can handle it. You can check out one of the OEM's I have made for this purpose in my sig.

Either Sound Themes or Adding personal files should do the trick for ya...

Re: Kitchen help needed

well I am throwing them into the OEM folder (under Additional Ringtones) I see I have to edit the RGU file. Is there a way of automatically generating it?

I've got close to 50 ringtones and typing out each one will take forever (well a long time!)
