Re: Sprint Mobile Push Email
Not so:
Click the messaging icon (that little envelope), if it opens to your email account's inbox... ->Click Menu->Tools->New Account->Follow instructions OR: Click messaging icon, if it opens to the Messaging opening page it'll have the following: Text messaging: "Email" Account name Setup email: Tap to setup new account. |

Re: Sprint Mobile Push Email
I use the seven email application, sorry cant remember the website, but seven is the company that runs Sprints mobile email app, and it allows up to seven email accounts, all of which would be push email accounts.

Re: Sprint Mobile Push Email
I use this application on my touch. This is the website the user above me was referring too. I don't recall how many email accounts it allows you to push.
I have 4 accounts, 2 yahoo and 2 gmail. it works great. you do have to register for it so you can use the application. here is the link http://community.seven.com/main.php hope this helps you. |

Re: Sprint Mobile Push Email
I think I am missing something - has anyone figured out how to make this a true "push email"? I have done the setup and configured it with a POP email account from comcast.net, but I still need to to do the "send and receive" in order to get any email. It is definitely faster than with a normal email configuration, but it doesn't come to me the way I expected from "push email". Does your email come to you without a "send and receive"?

Re: Sprint Mobile Push Email
Emails should be sent to your phone when you receive them. Make sure you set up your email account with Mobile Email Settings (Sprint Wing) is the icon which is listed under Programs. If you set up your account in the messaging tab on the Today screen you are using Pocket Outlook which is pop3 and you will have to click "send and receive".
*When setting up in Mobile Email Settings (Sprint Wing) make sure to check Account Information and see if your password is saved there or you will not get emails sent to your phone.* When I set up my Gmail account my password was not saved and I was not receiving emails via Push. I checked the Event Viewer which is part of the Mobile Email program and it kept saying invalid password. |

Re: Sprint Mobile Push Email
Just downloaded the seven beta program and it is what I expected from the sprint one. Have all my email accounts being pushed now and can email from any of them flawlessly. Thanks for the link
