New Rom - Can't Get GPS to work

I have upgraded to the "shipped" rom on my Touch and had no problems during the process.

I can't get a gps lock with Google Maps.

Do I still need to do any of the steps in the Rev A Sticky?

Any Tips would be appreciated.

You're outdoors with a decent view of the southern sky?

Inside, outside, no difference.

In Google maps, it just stays on "seeking gps sattelites(0)..

I did see a message flash by once that said "phone doesn't seem to be compatible with location feature(beta)" or something like that.

I've done a hard reset a couple of times.

Never mind. I did another reset and it started working. I get 7 sats outside and 4 inside.
