JD's Hybrid Rom Network Service Question

What is the differnce between automatic A and automatic B in the network service setting, is there a way i can set it to automatic roam when home service is not avaliable?? cuz when home service is not avaliable i have to switch it to automatic a or b to get roam service? What is the difference between these 2?
