Push email/Exchange.

Before I updated my rom to the latest "release", I was using the pre-release rom with 6.1

I have my touch set to receive/sync push email from my exchange account.

Before, when I would delete a message, it would sync my changes back to exchange immediately.

Now... when I delete a message. unless I force a send/receive it won't sync back.

Any ideas?

Re: Push email/Exchange.

Someone else in the other thread was having it too. That is why I made a separate thread on it. Seems I'm not alone. Being alone, well, is lonely. Much prefer to share the misery! LOL

Re: Push email/Exchange.

I'm wondering, is there someone out there that HASN'T updated with the "final" and still using the pre-release that uses push/sync and can extract registry parts. I'll bet some key is changed from pre to now.

Re: Push email/Exchange.

I just updated this morning and noticed the same thing.

I don't even have the option to switch it on/off in ActiveSync now.

Re: Push email/Exchange.

does it matter when it deletes it back at the server, not being immediate?

I am using the official 6.1 release and when I delete my emails, they are immediately cleared off of the server. I had to change an option in the messaging options and not active sync however. If you will bring up your outlook email, select menu, tools, options. A tab across the bottom should say storage. In the middle of this page, there should be a drop down box asking you what to do with deleted items. I have mine set to immediately.

Hope this helps.

Re: Push email/Exchange.

eeraider, they are pushing down to the phone, but if I delete them, nothing at all happens on the server until I FORCE a send/receive. I've watched it for over an hour and nothing. I have set to immediately delete and nothing. Do you have THIS latest sprint release or are you on a different version?

I didn't have this issue until this specific version.

Re: Push email/Exchange.

Ok, I hard reset, reinstalled the rom, let the customizations do their thing. I'm resetting up my exchange connection with absolutely 0 other customizations or apps. I'll tell you how it goes.

Re: Push email/Exchange.

Grrrr, same issue. Push to the phone works, I see everything, but unless I click SYNC, it won't push any changes from my phone back to my exhange server.
