Losing Threaded texts

Does anyone lose their messages after a soft reset?

Well, since there is no native threaded sms application for the Touch (at least there won't be until the official 6.1 update comes out), it would really help to know what threaded sms application you're using.

How are you doing the soft reset? I noticed on the sprint users forum that some users are pressing the button at the bottom of the touch for a soft reset instead of using the power button.

The official 6.1 update is out and the threaded text messaging is built in. If I do a soft reset by using the stylus in the little hole in the bottom, I lose my text messages when the device restarts

i lose them too. i had the same problem in widnows mobile 6. My fix was to just use sktools to send a hibernate message etc (the ram cleanup tool) before restarting. This forced it to save all my texts into memory

Uh, as far as I know, the official update for the Sprint Touch has not yet been released.

I'm not saying that when/if the 6.1 official update is officially released will fix your "losing my text" woes, I'm just sayin' it ani't out yet.

im having the same problem, been having it for a while, im on the titan, its not all the time, but it does happen...really annoying.

the problem is, that most of the time that i ahve to soft reset, its because the device isnt responding or something, so using sktools, wouldnt really solve help.

any other suggestions/solutions?

Although Sprint hasn't actually launched it yet, it looks like the real deal......
so.......

Ok, I installed it and so far I'm not losing my messages w/soft resets.

At this point I would think it might make sense for you folks that are having a problem to start listing the third-party apps you have installed.
