Navigation won't recognize my gps

I have sprint touch-wm6.1 official rom just upgraded today just for gps. i have igo8 and when i start my app it says gps not found even though its turned on through my settings.(dial screen,menu,options,service,location setting,check box) Am i missing something or what is a good nav app that i should use that is compatible with the touch(wm6.1)

For some reason mine didn't start working until I went to settings>connections>beams and selected receive all incoming beams. I know this drags down the battery so when I was done with testing GPS I shut it off again.

I installed the official ROM and everything works great except the Sprint Navi. I can see the link button from the today screen but it doesn't seem to lead anywhere. Any suggestions? I downloaded TeleNav and already like using Windows Live, but I'd like to have the turn by turn if possible.

Did you "prime" your gps receiver before starting iGO8? iGO8 needs to be primed before it can work. Astrolauncher is a good tool to prime iGO8:

You can test your GPS functionality with GPS Viewer only to see if it locks to satellites (it can also prime iGO.

I loaded the Sprint Nav cab and it works great. No priming needed and it is a touch specific design.

Can someone post the Navcab? My iguidance also wont recognize the sats, but live search works well. Thanks!

I used this on a Titan and thought I wouldn't need it on the Touch/Vogue. WRONG.

This is a VERY simple answer for TomTom Navigator 6 issues!!!!

ok, im officially lost.i ran the launcher and nothing happened.no app opened or anything.I got gps viewer and it lock on a satelite on com 1.I ran igo 8 put com1 in the gps setting and it looks for a connection in port 9?

update. i got my igo8 to pick up the gps but i when i select destination all the letters r blacked so i cant type a destination.
