Unhappy HTC Audio Manager + Audio Booster = no boosting

Hello All,

I received my Touch last night, and was excited for it. It is an awesome phone, but to my surprise, there was no HTC Audio Manager installed.

So I headed over to XDA-devs and picked up the Audio Manager and the Audio Booster. Aater installing successfully, the Audio Booster just doesn't work!

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

Matt

Thanks for your quick reply...

I'm more concerned with bass and the treb, and the 3d sound thing is pretty nice.

What media player do you use?

[edit]
You sig says TCPMP... nice nice...

[edit2]
Wait a second... Slide2Play is a standalone player?! how'd I miss that?

I use S2P cause it now shows album art on the S2U2 screen. which i think is fvcking amazing.

I initially installed TCPMP for the youtube type stuff, but i only actually use it to stream internet radio.

and yes S2P can stand alone here is the link to the latest version, i believe.

i cant remember and im too lazy to go find my phone to check, but i believe with TCPMP you can turn up the volume to 200%. Never checked if either have an equalizer of sorts...

That's all the info i got so i hope that helped some.

Hey,

Yes, just installed s2u2 and s2p. Both are awesome!

I think A_C explains that the newest version of S2P uses WMP. I'm testing now to see if the WMP EQ affects "S2P's" output. I'm not looking to murder my ears, just get some bass and treble.

Thanks!

Yes, I have headphones (official HTC remote/mic> headphone line thing). And, no, it still doesn't work. As long as I can get an EQ going... I don't care!

For those of you that do/did install it dont worry. Just uninstall, soft reboot and you're fine.
