Esn swaps? Use any 6900?

Hey guys, i have a question that im pretty sure has been answered but i cant find it or at least a clear answer. I'm on a Verizon plan, is it possible to transfer my ESN from my 6700 onto a 6900 (not from Verizon or neccasarily Alltel) and have it function on the Verizon network? Ive heard it is and you just lose the ability to do a data plan which i dont mind too much, i dont use it.

So if this is do-able could i use a sprint 6900 on my verizon network?

If its not doable is there anyway to get a Sprint or non-approved 6900 working on the Verizon network? I can get ahold of a Sprint model very cheap.

Re: Esn swaps? Use any 6900?

i just read a few searches, i'm still confused. theirs a few different means people go by to seemingly do the same thing. One involves sending a modified phone to verizon to have them verify it... which i really dont feel comfortable doing.

Can anyone confirm a Sprint 6900 running on Verizons network?

Re: Esn swaps? Use any 6900?

someone sent alltel 6900 for verizon to approve and they said its non-approved device. read more here
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=24855

some people here on forum say they use ppc6900 on verizon fully working (with data). Do a search for "clone"
