I think the BT wifi would connect to an outside component that recieves the wifi signal. So you'd just have to carry that along with you. That's my understanding, could be wrong though.

I am actually a Verizon Rep. I have the Xv6900 myself. On my phone I have the Broadband Access Connect (which let me use my phone for a modem)$30, PDA/Smartphone Unlimited $44.99, I also have the unlimited select Plan for $119.99 so I have unlimited text.
