I want to flash to a wm 6.1 rom...dont get on me cuz ive read all of the stickys in the vouge upgrade forum...so i want gps and rev. a. Ive tried and tried to understand the stickys but, me being dumb, doesnt get any of it. so can anyone help me understand all and guide me step by step and get everything right??

btw...im running the sprint stock rom, ROM version: 1.12.651.1, Radio version: 2.13.00

There are plenty of step-by-step guides here already. Have been for some time, in fact. Seriously, if you don't understand any of those, don't screw with it. The Touch is NOT forgiving and I've already trashed one (first phone in 6 years that melted down on me) so I'm not doing anything to my current phone until there's an OFFICIAL update from Sprint. You don't gain much with Rev A and the built-in GPS is pretty close to useless anyway. If you need a decent GPS get a Holux GPSlim off ebay. They're accurate, they're cheap and you don't risk turning your phone into worthless junk.

@chicubs3794: I second markgamber's reply. Doing this requires you to almost fully understand your Touch both in hardware and software.

Post 7 has a link to the leaked ROM and password. Post 8 has simplified instructions.

Ignore the minor flame war in that thread. The leaked Sprint ROM is a signed app, does not need your phone to be unlocked, and does update your radio.
