New to the Touch... which sprint rom should I use?

Hello all,

I'm new to PPCGeeks, but have been active over at xda-devs for a while with an HTC Wings S730.

I recently switched to sprint and expect my phone to arrive on wednesday. After hunting around, OMJ's WM6.1 ROM seems to be the best, with GPS and Rev-A; but I'm unsure which of his Sprint ROMs to flash.

It appears that there are two logical ones to flash:
OMJ.WM6.1.GPS.Custom.Sprint.v3.exe
RUU_Vogue_4350_PPST_SpeciallNBH_SPRINT_WWE_3.02.65 1.2_Radio_435011_3.37?V_SPCS_1.33_0823_Test.exe

Which is the latest version?

yes he has some nice ROMs but, i just ported the newest Diamond ROm over it is still kinda beta but i am having some really good experiences with it i am uploading it right now.

Yes, that would be awesomeness; but I need my WM6.1 sooner than I expect a stable beta to be available of your ROM. I need the thing for work so I need it to be relatively bugless. Where are the screenshots anyway?!

I will gladly flash your ROM once "done," and am excited for it.

You, being a chef, might be able to address another concern of mine: Is there a HardSPL for the Vogue? I can't find any info. Correct me if I'm wrong, but HardSPL will stop the SPL from being overwritten, which will avoid phone brickage?

it seems pretty bugless from what i have tested and it is WM 6.1 i am not trying by any means to convince you of one ROM more than others i just wanted to let you know of the progress.

i agree with these guys bruh. omjs rom work well. Im running the rom you mentioned above and im extremely happy about the results. no lag time, most registry tweaks have already been taken care of for you and im very impressed at how well the gps works. couldnt be more happier.

yes use the 2.31 unlocker for the vogue in the vogue section.

I listed two ROMs, and we're talking about another ROM. Which ROM are you using?

So there's no HardSPL? Just use this unlocker tool?

i ported the sys folder over from the newest Diamond ROM. it is not diamond themed yet but it is very very quick. and just use the unlocker tool flash the new gps ROM and then you can flash anyROM for your carrier. it is basically stock as far any graphics.

That's awesome that it's fast. Humm... maybe I'll flash that then...

Real quick, though, can you point me in the direction of the gps rom? Is this the process I need to follow, then flash your ROM?

that is a great tutorial that is the one i used when i got my touch and yea that is the process you might wanna try one of the other chefs ROMs first and if you are feeling frisky then try my ROM. there is nothing wrong that i am aware of but those have been tested more since they have been out longer.
