Access manager

Does anyone know what verizon's access manager does, I haven't run it, and was wondering what it does. When I talked to a csr at verizon about updated software for gps she pointed me to the vzw access manager? Crazy csr's anyway.

VZAM allows you to tether/run an aircard.
