6900's dual core help when phones off?

Hey guys im looking to upgrade my 6700, my biggest want is a faster cpu but when i heard the 6900 uses a 400mhz cpu i was very suprised as the 6700 uses a 412mhz cpu. I know theyre different models and the newer 6900's probably has some advantages but with speeds so close i was a little dissapointed. Then someone told me about the dual core feature with an extra 133mhz Virtual processor dedicated to the phone. Kinda cool.

BUT with the phone off or not in use does it make that much of a difference? Are their any benchmark programs or some kinda charts available? I'm realy up in the air on this... im condsidering waiting till the diamonds become cheaper.

Wait for the Diamond or Pro. In my experience, the current qualcomm based devices (Titan, Vogue, etc) are a significant step backwards from the 6700 in terms of performance.

Well, your only 12 Mhz and your gaining 64MBs of RAM. I don't remember the specs on the 6700 but either they had 32 or 64MBs of RAM.
