Verizon XV6900 tethering with ICS

It stopped working for me. I used to be able to tether with a pc using ICS, but now whenever I do that, the only webpage I can go to is a Verizon page asking to to sign up for a $15/month tethering plan. Anybody else having the same problem? I am using the latest kitchen and the Sprint leak radio if that matters.

well maybe verizon figured out how to stop it. pdanet im sure will work if that doesnt though ^_^

I downloaded PDAnet but haven't installed it on my XV6900 yet. Their website says it is not compatible with the XV6900. Has anyone tried it? Is there a rom that will allow tethering without having to pay the $15/mo ransom?

I had the XV6700 and used wmodem.exe to tether for the past 2 years without a problem or extra charge. When did Verizon's "Unlimited Data" plan become the "Unlimited Data Unless You Plan To Tether And Pay $15 More Every Month Unless You Use More Than 5GB" plan?

There's got to be some way to tether without going back to my XV6700 (or paying more and more and more on top of the "Unlimited Data" plan).

I'm just sayin'...
