I need Help with my Touch

I am new to this site. I had a guy come into my work today and tell me about this site. He was showing me all the stuff he downloaded to his Touch. I was just wanting to know how to go about this. He was talking about ROMs and kitchens. This is all GREEK to me. Can someone help me please? Thanks

First off, welcome to the site. There is a lot of information here in this forum about the Touch, and most PPC devices. I would advise using the search feature for most "noob" questions, and doing some reading up to get familiar with the terminology and what is capable with the stuff on the site. You will probably find answers to any question with the search, as they probably have been asked and answered here dozens, if not hundreds of times. For the rest, the members here are glad to help with answers and suggestions. I suggest the software forums to get ideas on programs, etc. Lots to learn here, but the results are worth it. A year ago I, like you had a brand-new PPC and not a clue, and in less than a month had learned to customize it far beyond it's stock format with custom ROMs and apps. Haven't regretted a second spent here, the results are well worth it. Get comfy, put on a pot of coffee and study up!
