Re: Caller ID not readable

Hey guys , this also has happened to me in the past, what i did is rotate the screen to landscape and had someone call me while in landscape. there it would look ok , so then went again to portrait and called again to see if it fix it and it did. I read this somewhere, don't remember were but did it and worked. I hope this helps you !!. If my touch could cook and iron i would marry it , hehehehe jk

PS. I am a Sprint Employee... Let me know if one of you guys are having problems to see if i can do something about it.

Re: Caller ID not readable

I've had the same issue with the stock rom, and with the leaked sprint beta rom, although it doesn't happen very often. This was issue was talked about before... this thread doesn't have any solutions (except for soft-reseting and the switching the screen orientation back-and-forth thing).

http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=22759

As others have noted, this issue can occur on completely stock roms.

Re: Caller ID not readable

Just switched from Sprint to Alltel and it still does it. The Alltell Touch also drops calls anytime I walk in a building. Very frustrating to find what is close to a perfect phone and then find out it doen't do the phone part very well.

Re: Caller ID not readable

i had the same problem when i was on the stock rom but ever since i switched to the almost oem 6.1 rom i havnt had this problem.....considering its supposed to be as close to stock as possible its kind of weird but if your planning on switching to a dif rom and having this problem might as well try this one...plus its a pretty cool rom
