yeah, pretty sure that you can't have CDMA phones connected to EVDO during calls. When doing calls, it switches to 1X. There was a thread about this same topic here or on xda-developers not too long ago.

yes this is how it is supposed to act.1x is for voice and text and EV/DO is for data related items.

ok when i call i have the same problem (which I guess now isn't a problem), but it also switches whenever I send a text...
Is it supposed to do that? |

Yes CDMA providers are kinda lame in this fact that they still don't support simultanious voice and data. Evdo rev-a is supposed to support this but.... well yah we're still waiting for them to support it. Would be really nice if they would. I have it on my Att Tilt but not on my mogul. Here's hoping for support on Raphael
