Abnormal battery loss?

My touch battery drains so fast.

Just like today, I woke up at 7:30 AM. And took it off the charger at 7:50. I talked on the phone for 5 mins. or less, did nothing else. And I'm now at my desk at 8:41 and my battery is at 88%.

I have my phone checking for gmail every 15 mins, and I have s2u2 running, but it blacks screens. No bluetooth turned on, and brightness is less than 60%.

What gives?

Re: Abnormal battery loss?

have you upgraded S2U2 recently to v.1.03?....or do you still have it before v.60?
some people using 1.03 have had issues with battery life
and
people using before .60 have always had issues.
i suggest trying to find v.1.02 and using it.

Re: Abnormal battery loss?

Checking email drains battery life. Try checking less frequently?

I'm using 1.03.

I might drop back down to 1.02.

I dont know when I need to check. I like my phone to tell me when I have an email. Otherwise I'd check every 10 mins myself.
