Notification settings missing

I have an Alltel touch with the HTC ROM upgrade and the only issue that i have is that you can not turn off the notification alert when roaming. when using bluetooth there is a beep indication that you are roaming. you are still able to make and recieve calls and the other party can not hear the beep but it becomes very annoying.

I contacted HTC and the reply (see below) was not very helpful. is there some way to access this notification setting in the registry?

Shane,
I know about the improvements and they work well. I need to be able to turn off the roaming notification or I will not be able to use the bluetooth at all. That is hardly an improvement. It renders my phone useless when traveling as I need the bluetooth for handsfree operation.

With these corrections, however, we made some minute changes to the configuration settings. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you.
