Used Touch already flashed, where to start???

Just bought a used Touch and seems to have already been reflashed. I changed the battery and on reboot it says "Test Only Not for Resale" and it already has WM6.1 on it with the GPS working. Not sure where to start from here on reflashing to another ROM.

hold the camera-power and then reset to get you in the boot loader if you see SPL-2.31,COKE you are unlocked there. I would assume youa re indeed unlocked and running the sprint test rom. It's hard to say with what you have given so far. But if you are already unlocked you can basically flash with any of the GPS Kitchen based ROMS.

It says SPL-2.31.coKe CPDL-3 OK it looks like it's unlocked already. Now off to read about how to flash a GPS Kitchen. Any way to see what version I have already on it?

OK, now how do I get out of the boot loader?

jsut press the little reset hole and u should be out of bootloader as long as u manually put it in urself and didnt get urself stuck in bootloader

OK, I'm out. Thanks Spencer. What seems to be the best ROM for GPS functions? Man I have so much to read. I was a PPC user and then switched to the Palm Centro for since it came out. Now I'm back to the Smartphone PPC world and have a lot to catch up on.

best way to go is the kitchen you can put what u want in it and get functionality of gps......its realy eaxy to do point click and hit play and it does the rest for u....i highly recommend it

So the roms posted here from others are their custom roms? And I can create my own custom rom using the Kitchen. My buildOS is updating right now.

Is there any issues with reflashing differant roms to see what I like?

well there are always risks, but i reflash like once every other day and dont have any problems
