Touchscreen doesn't work

I had a late night last night and woke up this morning clothed with my phone in my pocket. I must have slept on it because now the touchscreen is screwed.

Everything looks just fine, but when I open up the phone dialer and press any number, it endlessly repeats. I tried a soft reset, hard reset, AND complete ROM reflashing...I can't get past the calibration stage

Any ideas how to fix this, or is it time to grab the stock/shipped sprint ROM from HERE and bring it in for servicing?

If I do need to downgrade it back to stock, is there anything I should know before I do?
