Can't get over 1000kb/s with Rev. A?!?!
Hey all,
I have had the GPS/Rev A ROM's and radios ever since the first GPSTest rom came out... I never really thought to compare my speed to others, but I tested on speedtest.net today, and never got more than 800kb/s download!! Upload was anywhere from 150-190kb/s. I tried at different times of the day, with Rev A enabled, disabled, etc. Whats up here? Radio=3.37.15 PRL=60612 Current ROM=JD's Hybrid , but I've been through many...

The problem may be that you're phones signal is not too good, and/or that you are trying to use it at a high use time, (during the day), a lot of people are using their data at that point, and your provider has only so much bandwith. And also, the listed rev. a speeds are purely theoretical, so dont expect to reach the full 3.1m a second.

I generally have at least 3 bars. Also the speeds were pretty much the same no matter what time of day I tested (noon, 9pm, 2am, etc)..
