Did you let the customizations run when you installed the Alltel ROM? That would impose some problems.
You are only supposed to run the PPST.exe file if you are on a ROM that is either the Sprint leaked or Based on the Sprint leaked. If you run the PPST.exe with the Alltel ROM, then you will encounter problems. I would suggest you reinstall the Sprint Leaked ROM (3.02), let customizations run (if youre on Sprint), run PPST.exe and then soft reset. Give that a try. Let us know how it goes.

Re: Ut-Oh trouble started (could it be that I ran PPST.exe)?
I have tried the sprint leaked rom and let customization run. That ROM HAS issues way worse than I have now. BT/VC is a mess. And data left idle overnight will be hung everytime. And a few silent calls. I've seen others report similar issues. I install very few apps and only 1 today app which is weather panel with all automation disabled. I don't even enable polling email.
If 6.1 won't run stable with my apps then I won't run it. Which in my case is true. There is no stable version of voice command for 6.1 and the phone, for me, is useless with out stable voice command. I've never let alltel customization run and if I did I'd have no data period. These are subtle issues that don't happen everytime. It sounds like I should not have run PPST. What's the best way to undo this? Just hard Reset? Or do I need to put stock ROM back on to reprogram some Radio parameters? Or will reloading 3.35 radio do it. I'm confused what PPST.exe does and I'm confused how to get those conditions I had first time around back. Maybe I have not returned to the original conditions I had even before I ran PPST. |

Thanks for the tips, no2chem's 6.1 rom does look attractrive, but it looked like no activity and wasn't sure if it even supported gps.
It also feels like most of my issues are radio based at the moment and I still need to sort that out first. What bugs me is I did have stable setup I liked and I'm not sure how best to recreate it. I don't want to experiment with another os rom if my radio is still messed up and causing most of the issues. |
