Battery won't charge...

I'm having a weird problem. I got a couple of the SIDO batteries from ebay. Batteries are very good. Well worth the small investment. But, I have now ran into a strange problem. I am trying to charge the official HTC battery and now it will not charge anymore. The LED at the top is flashing orange but it is actually draining battery life rather rapidly instead. I cannot figure this out. I put in the new batteries and they charge fine. I have soft reset, gone throught the hard reset without fully hard resetting. Turned off the device all the way. Just pulled the battery. I can't think of anything else to do to get the battery to charge. Very frustrating.

Just curious, why do you need so many batteries?
