sprint touch reboot after coke 41. upgrade

i upgraded to the leak sprint rom. then flashed bootloader 41. coke. now what ever 3.5 radio enabled rom i load, the phone just reboots at the set up screen. it happens at the align screen to be exact. i've been searching like a mad man for the last 2 hours but i cant find anything. im thinking the reason for the rebooting is the bootloader.

but i cannot downgrade the bootload because i cannot get into a OS to do so. even the shipped rom does nothing. HELP!


edit: okay so i was able to load the sprint shipped rom from bootloader....and thank god it work after 40 tries. dont ask me how or why im not asking any questions. but after losing 4 hours of sleep i am determinded to get a gps rom running on this device.

i think i have the steps down pretty good. flash spl 40.....run leaked rom...flash newest spl (41.coke)...then run rom of choice.

but what im not understanding is where the hell did the rebooting issue come from? im scared to try it again because im afraid i'll be here another 2 hours with a smi bricked phone untill the ship rom decides to work.

is this rebooting issue coming when upgrading to 3.5 radios and roms???? i can't seem to find any info on it at all.

i wish i could help you, the same thing happened to me, but i cant for the life of me remember how to fix it. i remember it was something easy though. i believe it was something along the lines of re-locking your phone after that. in fact im almost positive thats what it was. not that i quite remember how to do that. i wish you the best of luck though.

EDIT: yeah found this and it was what i was going thru "Warning if you do not downgrade the SPL, the radio rom will not load. Also if you do not relock the device with the 2.31.coke bootloader it will cycle reset on you untill you do relock it. It is possible that this will brick your phone so make sure you follow instructions!"

hmmmm....thanks for your reply my good man.

so i've managed to get the shipped rom on the device. after that, i downgraded teh spl from 41 to .40. if i was reading right....one more flash of the shipped rom should remove the 40 spl or "relock" the phone and return it to shipped spl.

with that being done the phone is bone stock. so now i flash the leaked rom with the 3.5 radio. when that is done, then i can run the .41 spl...and soon after than the 3.5 enabled cooked rom of my choice.

can anyone confirm this?

The rebooting is because you are using the wrong SPL. .41 is not for GPS, you need 2.31
