Re: Ear Speaker not working
Did you install a modified audiopara.csv? I've seen it mentioned a couple of times that it may have led to a blown earpiece. Either way, it sounds like a hardware problem (assuming you've tried a hard reset). E-Bay or your carrier (depending on warranty) may cover it.

If you didn't mess with audiopara.csv, its most definitely a hardware issue as stated above. You can easily get it replaced for you by your carrier if you have a protection plan. If not, there may be a small fee [max $55]

A have a similar issue going on. I haven't mess with the audiopara and my ear speaker sounds like it was blown it is impossible to use it. I have to use the speaker or the included headphone. I have sprint and I have the protection plan but I'm wondering if I can get this phone replaced without paying the $50 bucks. I think this is warrantly issue and I haven't mess or done anything to the phone to cause this problem. |

I read somewhere that if you have a hardware issue within 1 year of getting the phone, you can get it replaced due to manufacturers defect. Go in and check it out. Call HTC if they give you any trouble.
