XV6900 (HTC Touch) Data Problems
First, a bit of background...
I've been using Verizon's Pre-Pay for a little over a year now. I had an XV6700 smartphone that worked perfectly on this service and it was much more cost effective for me. Much to my surprise, data also worked flawlessly on the XV6700 (yes, even on the pre-pay data worked).
Recently I purchased a brand new XV6900 assuming I could switch my ESN over and be done with it. Much to my dismay they are no longer allowing smartphone ESN's on the pre-pay network due to people abusing contracts and then using their smartphone's for pre-pay. Regardless, they wouldn't accept my new ESN.
So what I did was clone the ESN and such (through CDMA workshop) from the XV6700 to the XV6900. Everything works... EXCEPT DATA - probably my most important feature.
The message it gives me when dialing #777 and trying to connect is "Cannot Connect - Your Username or Password is incorrect". I've tried all the different combo's, nothing. I've even tried a lot of the threads in this forum for help but have been unable to get it working.
Can anyone be of assistance?
